Patriotic Children's Clothing
I can remember when the 4th of July meant swimming all day, then eating delicious food off the grill before lighting sparklers and watching the fireworks. I’m pretty sure every time I think about fireworks, I still picture and hear the scene from The Sandlot where Ray Charles sings “America the Beautiful.” I can’t wait to watch that movie with my kids someday…but for now, I’m not quite ready to answer questions about Squints and Wendy Peffercorn : ). Things might look a little different this year, but I still just adore a little lady or gent in a red white and blue outfit. Now that the 4th of July weekend is less than two weeks out, I thought I’d share a few favorite finds for dressing the little one, or in my case, little ones, in your life. Boy Moms, I’ve included some adorable finds for you as well!
I recently discovered The Oaks Apparel Company when a sweet neighbor of mine kindly gifted us some beautiful dresses her daughter had outgrown. I was immediately smitten and looked them up…lovely and classic designs. As soon as I saw the striped stunner (pictured top left), I saw visions of the girls wearing it for the 4th! I adore the other designers I’ve featured as well, and have religiously purchased Saltwater Sun San Sandals every year for my girls…they hold up amazing well and can get wet, so I just pass them on down the line : ).
